James Irwin

James’ songs reflect his meditative, monkish kinda way of life. He’s highly ritualized, level, meticulous, focused. He leans to the past and loss; loves water, explorers, ideas like levitation, silver light, and slack water; long, drawn out, warm sounds. In 2012 he released a first album as himself, Western Transport. Hear it at //jamesirwin.ca

With a presentation from producers of the grassroots radio project Migrant Voices.

Powerful Show of Solidarity at Amazon Workers Rally in Parc-Extension

What we witnessed yesterday in Parc-Extension was the birth of a new labor movement," said Mostafa Henaway, community organizer at the Migrant Workers Center, addressing last night's rally organized by the IWC-CTI's Amazon Workers Committee.
